P: Hello. I have an appointment for 10:30.
R: OK, let me check. What is your name?
P: My name is (Clive Davies)
R: Hmm, I can’t find you in the diary.
P: Oh dear. I made the appointment for a check-up
R: You’re not in the diary for today.
P: That’s a pity because I’ve had time off work
R: I’ve found you. Your appointment is for 10:30 tomorrow!
P: Oh no! I’ve come on the wrong day.
R: We are very busy but let me see if we can fit you in.
P: Thank-you for trying. I hope you can.
R: I’ve spoken to the dentist and we can see you today.
P: That’s great news! Thank-you.
R: It will be at 11:00.Fantastic.
P: I only have 30 minutes to wait.
R: You should be careful with the date next time.
P: Don’t worry, I will be more careful.
